Dora, a Aventureira is the Brazilian Portuguese dub of Dora the Explorer. Dubbed by Audio News in Rio de Janeiro, it first premiered on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. block in Brazil on October 23, 2000. It later briefly ran between 2006 and 2007 on RedeTV!'s TV Clubinho block, airing only the first two seasons. On the actual Nick Jr. channel, the show has aired since April 2, 2008.

On TV Cultura, the series began airing since June 6, 2009, airing only episodes within seasons 3-5, later joining the Quintal da Cultura block. On July 13, 2015, the channel acquired and streamed the remaining episodes of the series. Since 2019, the show has been shown for the state of Amazonas on TV A Crítica and Inova TV (afflitiated with RedeTV!), both from Rede Calderaro de Comunicação, following an agreement with Nickelodeon among other cartoons on the channel.
